Personalised, training‑aware nutrition planning for endurance athletes.

GlycoMatrix turns your training calendar, goals, and food preferences into weekly plans that adapt as your load changes — for athletes and, soon, for the sports apps they use.

Built from firsthand experience in endurance training, coaching, and performance planning.

Problem

Most nutrition tools miss the real context

Most nutrition tools are either too generic to be useful or too rigid to fit real life. For endurance athletes, that often means apps that ignore long runs, race build‑ups, and changing weekly load, reducing everything to the same daily macros. They often ignore the way training load changes week to week, the role of preferences and routine, and the fact that athletes need something practical enough to actually follow.

That creates a gap between good theory and useful execution. GlycoMatrix is an attempt to close that gap with planning that feels more adaptive, more contextual, and more grounded in how endurance athletes actually live and train.

How it works

A planning layer built around training

Training-aware

Nutrition planning should reflect training load, intensity, race goals, and timing — from easy days to long runs and race weeks — not just static calorie or macro targets.

Context-aware

Plans should adapt to food preferences, routine, schedule constraints, and real‑world tradeoffs, so an 80 km week is as manageable as a taper week.

Built for consistency

The goal is not theoretical perfection. The goal is to make better decisions easier to follow over time.

Who it's for

Two directions, one core idea

For athletes

Runners, triathletes, cyclists

Endurance‑focused, training‑driven people who want more useful weekly nutrition planning that reflects their goals and reality — not a generic plan that ignores how hard Thursday's long run actually was.

For sports apps

Platforms that want to add nutrition

An API layer for sports platforms that want training‑aware, endurance‑focused nutrition without building that capability from scratch. Integrate, don't rebuild. Feed in athlete profiles and training calendars, get back day‑by‑day carb targets and meal templates.

This is still early, but the core idea is simple: make personalised nutrition more useful, more practical, and easier to integrate into the products and routines where it actually matters.

Product direction

What GlycoMatrix is exploring

  • Weekly meal planning that adapts to training load, intensity, and race build‑ups.
  • Personalised recommendations shaped by performance context, routine, and real‑world constraints.
  • An API layer that lets sports apps plug in training‑aware nutrition without rebuilding the engine.

The product is still in exploration — this is directionally where it's going, not a fixed feature roadmap.

Founder note

Why I'm building it

I started GlycoMatrix from my own experience with endurance training, coaching, and long-term performance planning. I've spent years working in product, where a lot of the job comes down to systems, feedback loops, and helping people make better decisions with less friction.

This feels like a natural place to apply the same thinking to something I care about personally.
